Digital tour of water and energy infrastructure sites in Berlin, revealing their past and present relevance. The tour follows the former border of Berlin in 1920 and includes audio stories and, historical documents as well as aerial and 3D images. The tour – designed by Tim Moss and Pauline Münch – was awarded the Conrad Matschoß Prize for the History of Technology 2023 by the Association of German Engineers, VDI.

Short films featuring Tim Moss as he visits various sites of Berlin’s infrastructure history, including a gas storage facility, a walk-in infrastructure tunnel, a water pumping station and a sewage treatment plant. At these different locations, Tim meets the people responsible for these infrastructures and learns more about their uses across time. The films are in both English and German.
