World Congress of Environmental History

At the World Congress of Environmental History in Oulu (Finland) from 19 to 23 August 2024 Tim Moss will be making two contributions. He’ll be presenting a paper “Hidden in Plain View: (In)Visibilities of Berlin’s Energy and Water Infrastructures, 1920 to the Present” in a session entitled Invisibilizing our environs: design, infrastructure and (un)sustainability. At the roundtable Pushing the envelope: Doing environmental history differentlyhe’ll be speaking on the topic “Mobilizing Infrastructure Histories for Sustainable Futures”. He is also co-organizing a session in honour of Julia Obertreis, an inspirational figure of environmental history who passed away in 2023
